About the Program
Glenmede and BRAVA Investments are bringing together industry leaders to share their perspectives on how investors can grow their assets while also advocating for women. The discussion will focus on impact investing and how it can be leveraged to elevate the position of women globally. After the program and panel discussion, which will feature audience Q&A, we hope you will stay and enjoy Central Park views from 10 on the Park, as well as delicious hors d'oeuvres and spirits provided by Ladies of American Distilleries.

Michael is an Assemblyman in New York State, who is passionate about urban entrepreneurship, minority- and women-owned businesses, community learning, sustainable communities, and empowering young men of color. He is the Founding Principal of Atlas Strategy Group, which focuses on political and economic empowerment for communities of color. He worked in both of President Obama’s Presidential campaigns.
Erika shapes and guides Futuro Media’s strategic vision and long-term sustainability. She brings over 20 years of experience in not-for-profit organizations specializing in local and national media companies. Dilday received a M.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism and a M.B.A. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from Harvard University. She is a member of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) and is a long-time Harlem resident.
Kerry has devoted her life to the vindication of equal justice, to the promotion and protection of basic rights, and to the preservation of the rule of law. She has concentrated specifically on women's rights and has led hundreds of human rights delegations. She also sits on the board of directors of Long Island Iced Tea and the United States Institute of Peace.
Kathryn is a public-interest attorney, journalist, and executive in the not-for-profit world specializing in women's rights. She has been recognized as one of the most influential lawyers in America, and argued in Planned Parenthood v. Casey and Roe v. Wade. She was previously the President and CEO of People for the American Way and its Foundation.
Pelagius, Inc., Co-Founder and COO
Samantha is passionate about biology, health, and medicine. She founded Pelagius with a mission to facilitate worldwide over-the-counter access to the safest and most effective birth control products. She led the development of inhaled insulin for diabetes and is currently working to develop inhaled cardiovascular medicine at InCarda Therapeutics. She collaborates with biotech and pharmaceutical companies all over the world, and is an advisor and board member for several entrepreneurial teams.
Tolu is an internationally recognized social entrepreneur who has spent her career building innovative organizations advancing human and civil rights. She was an unemployed, undocumented chemical engineer and worked her way to becoming a respected immigrants' rights activist. Tolu is a member of the Board of Directors of USAIM for IOM and a founding board member of the United We Dream Network.
Ms. Foundation for Women, President Emeritus
Marie is a feminist leader, social entrepreneur, and author who has created and led women's organizations for the past forty years. She is Founder of The White House Project and President Emeritus of the Ms. Foundation for Women. Marie is the creator of Take Our Daughters to Work Day and is a pioneer in micro-enterprise for low-income women. Among her many awards, Marie was named Woman of the Year in 2013 by the YES WE CAN Center. Currently, she serves on the Women’s Leadership Board at Harvard Kennedy School, an Athena Fellow at Barnard College, and chairs the advisory board of VoteRunLead.

Sheryl has worked for The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and Goldman Sachs, before leaving to write multiple books on Asia and women. She is a winner of the Pulitzer Prize and has been described as a "one of the leading women who make America." She has recently urged the G7 to focus on women.

Women Effect Wharton Social Impact Initiative, Founder

Suzanne is the founder and Chief Catalyst of a pilot initiative about investing with a gender lens called Women Effect, which is now part of the Wharton Social Impact Initiative. She also works in social impact finance in the UK. Other organizations that she is involved with include the SPRING accelerator, Confluence Philanthropy, Cornerstone Capital, Global Philanthropy Network, Women Donors Network, and Social Venture Network.
Laura is Director of Client Development for Glenmede, and is a member of its Investment Policy and Management Committees. In her role at Glenmede, she spearheads initiatives to broaden relationships with individuals, families, and endowments and foundations. Laura has been instrumental in advancing Glenmede’s impact investing platform. Laura is very active in her community and serves on multiple boards and committees for local charitable organizations.
Nathalie is the founder and CEO of BRAVA Investments which is committed to delivering returns to investors while making a catalytic impact on women in the world. Prior to launching BRAVA, Nathalie was the CEO and led the launch of SELF MADE. A technologist and coder by training, she launched her first tech startup at the age of 20. She has also worked to grow Lionbridge into a multinational business, and has advised industry leaders in both the for- and non-profit sectors.
Monique invests in black and Latino entrepreneurs, as she believes the next emerging market is being created at the intersection of tech and multicultural consumers. She is also the co-founder of Black Founders — a national community of entrepreneurs whose mission is to increase the number of successful black entrepreneurs in tech.
